Happy Valentine's Day (2015)

Amy,

I wish there were enough words to express the happiness that you have given me over the years that I have been able to know you.  We met in May of 2006 at the Gonzales Jambalaya Festival -- a night I will always remember.  Never would I have thought that I just met the woman who I would share the rest of my life with.  We were finally a couple 1 year later; something that I admittedly viewed as an epic achievement of my life.  I became the luckiest man in the world.  I grew more and more fond of our time together.  You were always the vision in my dreams when things were rough.  You saw enough in me to devote 4 years of your life to a long-distance relationship, when you so very easily could have taken an alterenative and smoother path in life.  I could not be more grateful for this.  I become sick at the thought of how easily I could have lost your love.  I asked you to marry me on November 21, 2010, at the site where we met.  You said yes.  I'll forever love you for that.  We were married on March 24, 2012, and began the happiest part of my life to date.  I am so thankful to still be living this life with you by my side, each step of the way.  Even the thought of another path in my life seems so foreign.  You are my heart.  Please keep beating forever.  I love you.

-Scott
